Jeu-de-boules

Across the château, wonderfully semi-shaded, are three boules courts where you can play a game of petanque, as they call it in France. Not yet familiar with the game? The rules are simple: try to throw your balls as close as possible to the small ball. You can play the game in teams or one against one.

It is always fun to watch others play on the courts, especially because of the throwing technique that often makes the difference!
